This shot was taken from the edge of the cliffs on St Patricks Isle, right next to the castle walls. It's a great view of the fishing port of Peel, but also of the two gorgeous, sandy beaches here. Families were barbequeing here in the late summer sunshine. In July, a Viking longboat race is held at Peel - we saw evidence of this when we wandered around the harbour. Strange to see Viking ships moored alongside contemporary fishing boats!
