The Calf of Man itself is a tiny islet, separated from the rest of the Isle of Man, by the Sound. It is a bird sanctuary and nature reserve, with good nesting sites for Chough. Manx Shearwater and other species.
There are boat trips across there in the summer, but no facilities on the islet. Very pretty and well worth a visit. But take your picnic.
