The Point of Ayre, Isle of Man
The Ayres Nature Reserve is right at the northern most tip of the Isle of Man. It is a bleak, windswept, empty spot. That is, apart from a few bird watchers, some fishermen and the local refuse tip.
We could just make out the Scottish coast in the distance, when we were there.
